TAKING THE BULL BY THE HORNS |
After more than 15 years of discussion on repairs to the VFW Hall roof, the project is finally underway! Under the leadership and direction of outgoing Commander Felix Torres, members and non-member volunteers have completed 80% of the project. The entire undertaking of the project was spearheaded by Commander Torres. Without his tenacity and encouragement the project would still be on the discussion table. Torres 'took the bull by the horns' and rallied the membership into taking action. Funding for the project is pending |
