The hundreds of flags at the Court House Flag Display go up about 7:am and then have to be taken down and folded around 4:pm. Come help us.

bank approval for a line of credit.  Nevertheless, Commander Torres has on his own accord used his personal line of credit to purchase the necessary materials, a further demonstration of his commitment to the project and the organization.   Commander Torres,  the membership salutes you!

 

 

 

Donations and other assistance for the roofing project are encouraged.  We must all pull together to keep the VFW viable and proud.  In these times of national crisis, the VFW shines like a beacon guiding the community to a brighter and better future.                       VOLUNTEER

 

TAKING THE BULL

 BY THE HORNS

 

After more than 15 years of discussion on repairs to the VFW Hall roof, the project is finally underway!  Under the leadership and direction of outgoing Commander Felix Torres, members and non-member volunteers have completed 80% of the project.  The entire undertaking of the project was spearheaded by Commander Torres.  Without his tenacity and encouragement the project would still be on the discussion table.  Torres 'took the bull by the horns' and rallied the membership into taking action. Funding for the project is pending
